What is Vietnam E-visa?

The Vietnamese Government implemented an electronic visa available to foreign travelers, including Australians, to visit Vietnam for temporary stays and specific purposes. The e-visa for Vietnam grants Australians permission to carry out tourism and leisure activities. The electronic visa for Vietnam is valid for 30 days from the date of arrival in Vietnam.

Requirements Documents
Before applying for a Vietnam e-visa, please make sure to prepare well:
- Read the eligibility of passport issuing country - Link
- Color scan or take a photo of your original passport (full page), which is at least six months in validity following the arrival date;
- Snapshot-style photo (selfie current photo) (JPG or PDF only); (no glasses and cap)
- Ensure you have your travel plans: phone number, Vietnamese accommodation address, and arrival date;
- When all documents are ready, kindly register through our portal.

Fee and processing time to get Vietnam E-visa
It usually takes 3-7 working days for the Vietnam Immigration Department to approve your application or 3 working days for urgent cases. In processing time, all requirements for refund are non-available.
The processing fee for a Vietnam e-visa is just $95 (AUD) for a regular 5-7 working days application.

It is recommended that you send the submission at least 1 – 2 weeks before the departure date., especially during public holidays or other special occasions when the number of applicants raises higher than usual.
